51 21 225 Removing and installing/replacing inside door handle in left or right front door

Remove front door trim panel. Refer to 51 41 000 REMOVING AND INSTALLING LEFT OR RIGHT FRONT DOOR TRIM PANEL .

Version up to 03/01 (Bowden cable with hook):

Pull Bowden cable (1) towards rear and unhook from door opener.

Version from 03/01 (Bowden cable with clip):

Unlock Bowden cable and unhook:

1. Tighten unlocking lever (1).
2. Lever out lock (2).
3. Detach Bowden cable (3) towards rear/top.
4. Adhesive tape (4) is only required for series production assembly.

Installation: 

For installation, press unlocking lever (1) completely onto door opener (5).
