Removal & Installation (3-Spoke Steering Wheel)

- Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM . Remove driver-side air bag module. See DRIVER-SIDE AIR BAG MODULE .
- Ensure front wheels are in straight-ahead position. Remove steering wheel bolt. Mark steering wheel hub in relation to steering shaft for installation reference. Remove steering wheel.
- To install, reverse removal procedure and coat slip ring with grease. Tighten steering wheel bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Activate air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM .
