Charge Pressure In Left Pressure Accumulator

1. Prepare special tool (32 4 000) with (34 3 160), (37 2 010/021/022) and (32 4 006). Close non-return valve (A and B). See Fig 1 .
CAUTION: Clamping screw on lever (2) must not be unfastened. See Fig 2 .
2. Open pressure relief screw (1) on control valve. Catch escaping oil. Unfasten control rod joint from lever (2). See Fig 2 .
3. Unfasten line to right pressure accumulator on distributor and attach special tool (32 4 000).
4. Start engine.
5. Move lever on control valve (level control valve) forwards to maximum pressure setting of 1740 psi (120 bar).
6. Switch off engine.
7. Move lever on control valve backwards to minimum pressure setting of 290 psi (20 bar).
8. Slowly open non-return valve (B) and catch escaping oil. See Fig 1 .
9. The pressure at which the pressure gauge drops straight to zero bar is the gas charge pressure for the pressure accumulator. The nominal value is 326-341 psi (22.5-23.5 bar).
10. Install control rod joint. Remove special tool.
11. Attach line and tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
12. Check oil level.
