11 72 192 Removing and installing / sealing or replacing pipe for secondary air induction (cylinder bank 1-6) (M73)

Remove non-return valve for cylinder bank 1 to 6, refer to 11 72 052 REMOVING AND INSTALLING / REPLACING NON-RETURN VALVE (CYLINDER BANK 1-6) (M73) .

Remove guide tube for dipstick, refer to 11 43 000 REMOVING AND INSTALLING / REPLACING GUIDE TUBE FOR DIPSTICK (M73) 

Remove right distributor cap (cylinder bank 1 to 6), refer to DISTRIBUTOR CAP (V12) .

Remove spark plug connector for cylinder bank 1 to 6.

Unfasten nut and remove ignition wiring harness (1).

Unfasten screw connection for heat baffle plate on exhaust manifold of cylinders 1 to 3. (top nuts on exhaust manifold)

Unfasten flanges (1 and 2).

Installation: 

1. Always clean gasket residue off flanges (1) on exhaust manifold for cylinder bank 4 to 6.

Installation: 

1. Replace gaskets.
2. First fit flange (1) and gasket (2) to the exhaust manifold. Fit gasket (4) to flange (3).
