Special Tools Required:

NOTE: For Special Tools, refer to SPECIAL TOOLS - 740i & 740iL - E38 .

IMPORTANT: Wheel bearing must be OK! Lift vehicle. Check wheel with special tool 36 1 030 (measuring fixture) for lateral runout.

Check wheel with special tool 36 1 030 (measuring fixture) for radial runout.

If applicable, remove balance weights.

Check lateral runout of rim with special tool 36 1 030 (measuring fixture).
