54 12 004 Adjusting sun roof: Installation:

Tightening torque, refer to 54 12 2 AZ 54 12 MECHANICAL SUN ROOF COMPONENTS .

Replace removed screws (microencapsulation) or install old screws with Loctite 270.

Press button to open roof briefly (1) then stop again (2) (inching function).

The slide/tilt sunroof lid must now lower at back by dimension (A). (A) = 2 ... 4 mm

CAUTION: Swift movement of the slide/tilt sunroof can damage mechanism (guide) of the slide/tilt sunroof cassette.

Pull floating roof liner forwards (with clean hands or wearing protective gloves).
