Tightening torque, refer to 540 12 7AZ 54 12 MECHANICAL SUN ROOF COMPONENTS .

Turn lever upwards and remove to the outside.

Release screw (1) and remove float (2).

Check sealing surfaces and remove any contaminants (use vacuum cleaner only, do not blow through with compressed air).

Fit screw (1) with spacer bushing (3). Check float for ease of movement. Refer to Figure .
