35 41 480 Replacing kick-down switch: Installation:

Adjust Bowden cable for throttle valve actuation, refer to 35 41 ... ADJUSTING BOWDEN CABLE FOR THROTTLE VALVE ACTUATION  .

Vehicle with accelerator sensor:

Remove lower left trim panel from instrument panel.

Attach special tool 35 0 010/012 to stop (3) on pedal block (4 = brake pedal).

Screw kick-down switch firmly down.

Press accelerator pedal down to floor. Unscrew kickdown switch until it rests on accelerator pedal.

Fit lock nut (2).

Remove special tool.
