35 51 040 Removing and installing / replacing left or right Bowden cable for parking brake pedal
CAUTION:
Adjust parking brake after assembly, refer to 34 41 006 ADJUSTING PARKING BRAKE
.
Remove exhaust system, refer to 18 00 020 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COMPLETE EXHAUST SYSTEM (M52, M60, M62) .
Remove heat shield over exhaust system.
Disconnect brake cable from expanding lock, refer to 34 41 250 REMOVING AND INSTALLING / REPLACING BRAKE SHOE EXPANDER FOR BRAKE SHOES OF THE PARKING BRAKE .
Disconnect Bowden cable from connecting unit.
Remove bracket for Bowden cable from body and remove Bowden cable.
