17 11 000 Removing and installing radiator: Installation:

Follow instructions for working on cooling system, refer to 17 00 ... INSTRUCTIONS FOR WORKING ON COOLING SYSTEM

Remove lower coolant hose.

Slide back spring (2).

Water hose (3) must snap audibly into place.

Unfasten radiator mounts on left and right by pressing in detent with screwdriver.

The cassette for automatic transmission, steering hydraulics and engine oil cooler and the A/C condenser are secured simultaneously with the retaining lugs.

Attach retaining lugs to left and right sides of radiator and press down firmly.

Parts must engage audibly.

Place screwdriver under lug on radiator mount and tighten down.

Pull out radiator (1) towards top.

Place radiator on supports.

Note rubber mounts on left and right sides.

Install rubber mounts with radiator in left and right brackets.

Top up coolant, refer to 17 00 005 DRAINING AND TOPPING UP COOLANT .

Vent cooling system and check for leaks, refer to 17 00 039 BLEEDING COOLING SYSTEM AND CHECKING FOR WATER LEAKS .
