54 12 136 Removing and installing/replacing rooflining frame for glass sliding/tilting sunroof lid: Installation:

If necessary, apply light coat of Renax GL1 (Fuchs) grease to guide duct. Remove boot for glass sliding/tilting sunroof lid, left and right, refer to 54 12 015 REPLACING BELLOWS FOR GLASS SLIDING/TILTING SUNROOF, LEFT OR RIGHT 

Slowly pull roof-lining frame completely forwards.

Release screws (1) and remove spring (2) on left/right.

Tightening torque, refer to 54 12 5AZ 54 12 MECHANICAL SUN ROOF COMPONENTS .

Fit spring (1) on left/right as shown in illustration and screw down.

If necessary, release screws (1) on stop (2) on left/right.

Insert stop (2) correctly into floating roof liner (3). Screw (1) is longer than the spring screws (see one work step previously). Tightening torque, refer to 54 12 8AZ 54 12 MECHANICAL SUN ROOF COMPONENTS .

Remove roof-lining frame forwards/upwards.

Insert roof-lining frame (1) at rear/left into support (2) of flexible lock.
