52 25 540 Removing and installing / replacing backrest frame from left or right rear seat (normal/ electric): Notes

Remove backrest cover with support, refer to 52 25 410 REPLACING BACK-REST COVER FOR LEFT OR RIGHT REAR SEAT (NORMAL/ELECTRIC) 

Remove lumbar support cushion from rear seat, refer to 52 25 550 REPLACING LUMBAR SUPPORT CUSHION ON LEFT OR RIGHT REAR SEAT (NORMAL/ ELECTRIC) 

Unscrew bolts.

Pull actuator drive (1) downwards and remove both input shafts (2).

Cut through left and right cable connectors (1) on input shaft (2).

Unfasten screws and remove both transmissions (1) with input shaft (2).
