Removal & Installation (5-Series)

Move steering column fully out and down. Unclip wood inserts to left and right of steering column. Place rags over steering column to prevent scratching. Remove 4 screws attaching instrument cluster trim to instrument panel. Remove instrument cluster trim. Remove 2 screws at top of instrument cluster hood. See Figure . Tilt cluster down to access connectors. See Figure . Disconnect electrical connectors. Remove instrument cluster. To install, reverse removal procedure.
