Removal & Installation (3-Series)

Disconnect negative battery cable. Unclip wood insert to left of steering column. Remove left glove box. Remove 2 headlight switch screws. Working through glove box opening, press headlight switch unit upward and slide out switch unit. Disconnect electrical connector. Remove switch. To install, reverse removal procedure.
