Instrument Cluster & Gauges
Instrument cluster includes speedometer, tachometer, fuel gauge, temperature gauge, warning indicator lights, service interval indicator, odometer and trip odometer. See Fig 1 and Fig 2 . On some models, an optional check control or on-board computer panel is located either below climate control panel or in instrument panel. On M Coupe and M Roadster models, oil temperature, voltmeter and clock are mounted in center console below A/C-heater controls. On Z3, optional digital or analog clock is mounted in center console below A/C-heater controls. See Figure . Gauges use variable resistance sending units. A voltage limiter is not used.
