Audio Interface

In hands-free mode, the audio interface controls the input and output of voice information. Voice information is input via the hands-free microphone in the middle of the front headlining. Voice information is output via the loudspeakers connected to the radio. Voice information from the hands-free microphone is fed in the form of low-frequency signals. The low-frequency signals from the hands-free microphone are converted to digital form for further processing. Voice information going to the loudspeakers is converted from this digital form to low-frequency signals (hands-free mode is activated by pressing the transmit/receive button on the base plate).
