Monitoring and recharging of the battery in the Bluetooth handset

The battery charge in the Bluetooth handset (e.g. lithium ion battery) is continually monitored by the Telematic Control Unit (TCU). If the battery charge falls below a predefined level, the TCU will activate the battery charger in the eject box.

Automatic Monitoring And Charging Of The Battery  The charge level of the battery (e.g. lithium ion battery) in the Bluetooth handset is established automatically by charge management in the eject box as soon as the Bluetooth handset is engaged in the eject box. The battery is then only charged when the charge management detects that the charge is below a specific level. The on-board supply voltage must also be available (from terminal R ON or during the run-on time).
