Removal & Installation (M Coupe, M Roadster & Z3)

Pull off mirror adjustment switch knob. Using Pliers (61 1 300), pull out mirror switch. Disconnect electrical connector. Pry off door handle trim. Remove screw from mirror switch hole. If equipped with side air bag, pry off AIRBAG cover cap at rear of door panel. Remove screw under cap.
CAUTION: Do not pull on door handle/armrest.
Unclip door panel. See Figure . Lift upward on door panel. Disconnect speaker connector. Remove door panel. To install, reverse removal procedure.
