Removal & Installation (7-Series)
- Disconnect negative battery cable. Adjust steering column telescoping function to full out, and tilt function to full down position.
- Remove lower left instrument panel trim. Remove screws and steering column lower trim. Drive out pin, and lift out expander rivet. Remove steering column upper trim.
- Depress retainers attaching steering column adjustment switch to retainer. Detach wire straps, and disconnect wiring for steering column adjustment control switch. To install, reverse removal procedure.
