Removal & Installation (318ti & 5-Series)

Remove light switch knob. On 5-series, unclip wood inserts to left and right of steering column. On 318ti, remove finish panel from light switch. Remove retaining nut for light switch. On all models, place rags over steering column to prevent scratching. Remove 4 screws attaching instrument cluster trim to instrument panel and remove. Unplug wiring, and press switch out of switch frame. To install, reverse removal procedure.
