12 11 096 Replacing left distributor cap (M73)

1. Switch off ignition.

Remove fan.

Unfasten clips (1).

Unfasten hose clip (2) from auxiliary hose for air pump.

Disconnect plug-in connection (3).

Remove upper section of suction filter housing with mass air flow sensor.

Unfasten cable connector (1).

Unclip and remove left cover from points (1 to 3).

Pull off shielded connectors.

Installation: 

1. When fitting ignition leads, note firing order.

Unfasten screws and remove distributor cap.
