  1. Switch ignition off. Remove complete injection pipe with injector valves. Disconnect plug connection. See Fig 1 . Remove bolts, throttle body and place aside. Leave hoses connected. Mark routing of lines for knock sensors No. 1 and 2 on manifold. See Fig 2 . Remove bolts and noise insulation strip.
  2. Remove nut and place ignition wiring harness aside. See Fig 3 . Remove manifold with Extension (11 6 060). See Fig 4 . Remove bolts and control valve for engine venting. See Fig 5 . If necessary, remove vent pipe. See Fig 6 . To install, reverse removal procedure. Replace gasket between manifold and throttle body. Install vent pipe in manifold. Clip rubber mount of vent pipe in manifold on rotary shaft. Lug on vent pipe must align in bore of manifold. See Fig 7 -Fig 9 .
