Remove air intake manifold for cylinders No. 1-6 and 7-12. Note routing of lines for knock sensors. Remove nut and clean gasket flanges. See Fig 1 . Check sealing faces on cylinder head and manifold for damage. Clean sealing faces, check gasket flanges and replace if necessary.
