Removal & Installation (Control Valve Left & Right Engine Vent)

  1. Remove bolts and remove control valve. See Fig 1 . Install manifold without control valve. Control valve must first be fitted to neck on cylinder head cover, then fitted to sealing face of manifold. See Fig 2 . On control valve, first press adapter for cylinder head cover inwards. See Fig 3 .
  2. Install control valve with fitted adapter into cylinder head cover. See Fig 4 . Apply good coating of anti-friction agent to adapter. Install control valve to neck of cylinder head cover and press control valve downward, causing adapter to slide onto neck of cylinder head cover. See Fig 5 . Screw control valve onto manifold.
