Removal & Installation (Air Induction Pipes Cylinders No. 7-12)

1. Remove non-return valve for cylinders No. 7-12. See NON-RETURN VALVE  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Remove guide tube for dipstick. Remove left distributor cap. Remove spark plug connector for cylinders No. 7-12. Remove nut and remove ignition wiring harness. See Figure .
2. Remove bolt connection (top nuts on exhaust manifold) for heat baffle plate on exhaust manifold of cylinders No. 7-9. See Fig 1 . Remove flanges No. 1 and 2. To install, reverse removal procedure. Clean gasket residue off flanges on exhaust manifold for cylinders No. 9-12. See Figure . Replace gaskets. Install flange and gasket to exhaust manifold. Install gasket to flange. See Figure .
