Removal & Installation (Air Induction Pipes Cylinders No. 1-6)

1. Remove non-return valve for cylinders No. 1-6. See NON-RETURN VALVE  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Remove guide tube for dipstick. Remove right distributor cap. Remove spark plug connector for cylinders No. 1-6. Remove nut and remove ignition wiring harness. See Fig 1 .
2. Remove bolt connection (top nuts on exhaust manifold) for heat baffle plate on exhaust manifold of cylinders No. 1-3. See Fig 2 . Unfasten flanges No. 1 and 2. To install, reverse removal procedure. Clean gasket residue off flanges on exhaust manifold for cylinders No. 4-6. See Fig 3 . Replace gaskets. See Fig 4 .
