Cylinder Head Leak Check

  1. Seal coolant apertures with Cylinder Head Leakage Tester (111 420). See Fig 1 . Immerse cylinder head in a water. Inspection pressure is 4.5 bar. See Fig 2 .
  2. Check cylinder head for escaping air (cracks). If necessary, water bath may be softened using a soap based cleaning agent.
