Parking Brake
- There should not be braking affect when the parking brake lever is pulled up one tooth.
- The wheel peripheral force may deviate from the larger value by a maximum 30 percent in comparison with the opposite wheel (measured on dynamometer). Adjustment is necessary in case of greater brake force difference.
- The parking brake must be adjusted if the parking brake lever travel is greater than 10 teeth.
- Adjustment is also necessary after replacing brake shoes, brake drums and resetting slack control device.
