Master Cylinder: Installation

  1. Only install a brake master cylinder with the same diameter. Identification is located raised on the body. Tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  2. Connect brake pipes and tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  3. Install brake fluid tank.
  4. Bleed brakes. Prior to model year 1994 see BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM WITH ABS/ASC+T WITH PLUNGER HYDRAULIC UNIT  . From model year 1994 see BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM WITH ABS/ASC+T (FROM MODEL YEAR 1994)  .
