Bleeding ASC+T Mineral Oil Circuit

CAUTION: Before the mineral oil circuit is filled with hydraulic oil, ensure the brake system is filled with brake fluid. See BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM WITH ABS/ASC+T WITH PLUNGER HYDRAULIC UNIT  .
  1. Disconnect control unit for ABS ASC+T. See ABS/ASC+T CONTROL UNIT CABLE  .
  2. Top up hydraulic fluid.
  3. Switch off ignition, and attach control connector to ABS ASC+T control unit.
  4. Switch on engine and run at idle speed for at least 60 seconds.
  5. Fit special tool (34 3 110) to the bleeder screw on the hydraulic plunger unit and insert end of hose in hydraulic oil tank.
  6. Open bleeder screw and flush plunger hydraulic unit until hydraulic oil emerges without bubbles (at least 15 seconds).
  7. Close bleeder screw and tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  8. Check hydraulic fluid level and top off if necessary.
