34 51 560 Removing and installing/replacing pressure sensor for DSC
Special tools required:
- 34 5160
NOTE:
Before beginning work:
- Switch off ignition.
- Protect brake system against unauthorized actuation.
After completing work:
- Purge front axle circuit.
- Check pressure sensor under pressure for leaks.
- Pressure sensor check by DSC system: Turn on ignition and firmly depress brake pedal. Warning lamps must not come on any more.
Unlock plug connection (1) and detach.
Detach pressure sensor (2) with special tool 34 5 160.
Installation:
- Check sealing surfaces and thread of pressure sensor and of hydraulic unit for damage.
- Screw in a new pressure sensor immediately after unscrewing the old pressure sensor.
- Tightening torque 34 51 2AZ.
