34 51 555 Removing and installing/replacing charging piston unit DSC3 up to 09/98

Installation:
- Bleeding brake system,
- refer to 34 00 050 BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM WITH DSC3 750I/IL FROM 09/96 TO 09/98
CAUTION:
After finishing work:
Conduct operational check of hydraulic control unit with BMW Diagnosis and Information System (DIS).
Conduct operational check of hydraulic control unit with BMW Diagnosis and Information System (DIS).
Unfasten brake lines (1 - 6) on charging piston unit.
CAUTION:
Do not mix up brake lines; mark prior to removal if necessary.
Installation:
- Pipe connections
- (RA) to DSC3 hydraulic control unit connection (R)
- (MC2) from master brake cylinder circuit (R)
- (PBP) from pre-boost pump
- (MC1) from master brake cylinder circuit (F)
- (FC) to DSC3 hydraulic control unit connection (F)
- (BE) to brake fluid expansion tank
- Tightening torque. Refer to BRAKES - TIGHTENING TORQUES .
Pull connector (1) off pressure sensor.
Pull charging piston unit out of rubber mounts toward rear.
