16 11 060 Removing and installing or replacing fuel filler pipe

For sucking out the fuel from the fuel tank, refer to 16 00 005 DRAINING AND FILLING FUEL TANK

Remove rear right wheel.

Remove rear right wheel arch trim.

Disconnect breather line.

Remove the connector hose that leads to the fuel tank.

Unscrew the fuel filling pipe below.

Unscrew the fuel filling pipe above.

Pull the fuel filling pipe completely out of the rubber gaiter at the wheel housing.

CAUTION: After installing the fuel filling pipe, check the electric resistor between the ground lug (tank filling pipe) and the wheel hub.

Measured value: approx. 0.6 ohm
