16 11 030 Removing and installing fuel tank: Notes

Suck the fuel out of the fuel tank, refer to 16 00 005 DRAINING AND FILLING FUEL TANK

CAUTION: After the installation of the fuel tank / Prior to the first engine start-up:

Check the electrical resistance between the ground lug (tank filling pipe) and the wheel hub.

Measured value: approx. 0.6 ohm

Disconnect the fuel pipe with special tool 13 3 010 and open the hose clamp.

Remove the connectors of the sensor for the fuel level gauge on the right.

Remove the connection from the sensor for the fuel level gauge on the left.

Remove the propeller shaft completely, refer to 26 11 000 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COMPLETE PROPELLER SHAFT

Disconnect cable.

Remove left and right stone chip guards.

Remove hydraulic lines.
