Removal & Installation

Remove wheel. See 36 10 300 REMOVING OR INSTALLING FRONT OR REAR WHEEL
Unfasten nut (1) and remove screw (2) for upper control arm to rear axle carrier. See Fig 1.
Open holder (1) if necessary. Unfasten nut for control arm to wheel carrier. Brace on hexagon if necessary. Remove control arm. See Fig 2.
To install, reverse removal procedure. Ensure tapered pin and bore are free of grease. Replace fasteners and tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
When installing upper control arm to rear axle carrier, watch insertion direction of bolt (2). Bolt head points towards front in driving direction. See Fig 1.
