12 41 020 Removing And Installing/Replacing Starter (M60, M62): Installation

1. Check starter pinion for damage.

Check starter crown for damage.

NOTE: Instructions on troubleshooting and dismantling the starter motor, refer to STARTER .
Continue troubleshooting as per DIS instructions.
