18 31 015 Removing and installing / replacing right exhaust tailpipe (M73)

Remove rear splash guard.

Remove heat baffle plate from front axle support and from positive battery lead.

Unfasten screws on top exhaust pipe.

Installation:

Replace sealing ring,
refer to 18 11 015 REPLACING SEALING RINGS (M60, M62, M73)

Unfasten screw connection on flanges (1 and 2).

Remove exhaust pipes.

Installation:

Check seals (1 and 2) and replace if necessary.
Replace self-locking nuts.
Coat thread with copper paste - CRC.
