Removal & Installation

Remove actuator drive for tank filler flap.
Unfasten screws. See Fig 1 .
Unlock connector and remove. Change the sheet metal nuts (1) if necessary. See Fig 2 .
To install, reverse removal procedure.
After assembly, encode new control unit. Refer to BMW Diagnosis and Information System.
