Removing And Installing/Replacing Front Differential (M54): Installation:

1. Replace sealing ring (1).

2. Insert sealing ring (1) in groove.
3. Coat sealing ring (1) with antiseize agent.
4. Sealing ring, refer to BMW Parts Service.

Important! 

Replace output shaft radial seal.
