Removal & Installation

Lower rear axle carrier. See AXLE CARRIER ASSEMBLY .
Unfasten stabilizer bar on rear axle carrier.
Heat sleeve with an industrial hot air blower.
Pull out rubber mounts using special tool (00 8 550 & 33 3 107/321). Both pulling arms must be applied at openings of mount on support pipe. See Fig 1 .
Ensure openings (1) in new rubber mount align with longitudinal axis of vehicle (F). See Fig 2 .
Coat new mount (1) with Circolight and pull in with special tool (33 3 103/104/322/223). See Fig 3 .
