Axle Carrier Assembly: Installation

Connect springs with rubber rings on body.
To install, reverse removal procedure. Replace self-locking nuts. Damaged threads in bushings on body side can be repaired with Helicoil thread inserts. These inserts must be fitted flush with the original thread. Tighten fasteners to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
On vehicles with drum brakes, bleed brake system. See appropriate article in BRAKES.
Adjust handbrake. See appropriate article in BRAKES.
