Ignition Key / Seat Belt Warning Test

Ensure the following fuses are intact:

• 325 Series - No. 4, 5, 6 and 12
• 525i and 535i - No. 1, 15, 17, and 20
• 735i - No. 10 and 12

Warning buzzer is actuated with key in ignition switch and driver's door open. Door jam switch provides circuit ground. Seat Belt warning buzzer is actuated if seat belts are not buckled. Circuit path is through warning buzzer, seat belt switch, a 5-second timer and ground. Actuating switch is an integral part of seat belt receptacle.
