Disassembly Of Upper Right Valve Body

  1. Remove screws and separate upper right valve body (thermo valve) from main valve body assembly, ensuring sandwich plate remains with upper right valve body.
  2. Remove sandwich plate and ensure nylon ball stays in place. Remove plastic ball and thermo valve assembly.
  3. Remove converter clutch damper retaining clip, washer, springs and damper. Remove torque converter valve and spring.
  4. Remove torque converter clutch hysteresis valve and spring. Thoroughly clean all valve body components.
