Clutches "C1" & "D": Reassembly
- Coat all discs and plates with ATF. Ensure all plates and discs are installed in proper sequence and number as when removed. See PLATE & DISC USAGE chart.
- If discs or plates are replaced, soak new parts in ATF for 20 minutes before installing. When installing one-way clutch, bent over tabs or OBEN (top) must be seen. When inserting end plate, ensure that center tooth of group of 3 teeth engage in opening of cylinder.
