Clutch "E": Disassembly

  1. With clutches "A" and "B" removed, lift clutch "E" off planetary gear set. Remove snap ring, outer disc and lined plates. See Figure .
  2. Press down on diaphragm spring with Diaphragm Spring Compressor (242030) and lift out snap ring. Press out "E" piston with compressed air applied through oil bore. Discard "O" rings and seals.
