Centrifugal Governor: Reassembly

  1. When installing governor piston, ensure it slides easily into governor bushing. Remove spring clip and balance weight.
  2. Slide parking lock gear with centrifugal governor onto output shaft. Install centrifugal governor on parking lock gear and tighten to specification. Heat bearing race to about 175° F (80° C) and slide onto output shaft.
