One-Way Clutch: Disassembly

Remove snap ring. Press output shaft from clutch unit. Remove plate carrier from one-way clutch. Remove snap ring (if used) and carefully press one-way clutch cage out of outer race. Ensure spring pressure does not cause needle bearings to jump out of cage. Refer to Figure .
