Clutch "A": Disassembly
- Press input shaft from clutch "A" assembly. Using press, slightly compress clutch plate carrier. remove snap ring that retains plate carrier. See Figure . Release press.
- Remove plate carrier, discs and plates from clutch drum. Note number and arrangement of plates and discs. Compress spring and remove snap ring and lock plate. Remove piston from clutch drum by applying compressed air to oil passage on inside of splined area on clutch drum. Remove "O" rings.
