Removal (3-Series)
- Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheel assembly. Remove lock plate and nut. Disconnect output shaft at drive flange and secure out of way. Press output shaft out using Output Shaft Remover (33 2 110). Remove hex head screw and remove rotor.
- Drive out rear axle shaft using Driver (33 4 010). Remove snap ring and remove wheel bearing using puller. Remove inner bearing shell from rear axle shaft with puller, if necessary.
