Front Suspension Assembly: Installation
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Replace all self-locking nuts. Engine mount pin must engage in hole properly.
- On 3-series models, position wheels straight ahead. Alignment marks on steering gear housing and steering gear shaft must be aligned. Pinch bolt must fit in groove of steering gear shaft. Check stabilizer bar and engine motor mounts for deterioration or damage. Bleed power steering pump. On 6-series, 735i and 735iL, bleed cooling system. On all models, check for proper wheel alignment.
